Countdown to Society of Editors Fighting for Real News Conference

The sell-out Society of Editors ‘Fighting for Real News’ conference will take place this Sunday 12 November 2017 and Monday 13 November 2017. Kicking off on Sunday evening, the prestigious Society of Editors’ Lecture will be delivered by Ronan Harris, Managing Director of Google in the UK and Ireland and will be held at The Tamburlaine Hotel.

The main day of conference sessions, which has now sold out, will take place on Monday at the prestigious University of Cambridge’s Clare College. Delegates on Monday will hear from a fantastic line-up of speakers including the Metropolitan Police Commissioner Cressida Dick, The Telegraph’s Chris Evans and Lionel Barber, Editor of the FT. Topics of discussion with range from Fake News, Ideas and Innovation, Police and Media Relationships, Reporting Terror and Freedom of Expression worldwide.
