The Society of Editors Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging site was created to show progress that has already been made, and share best practice with one aim in mind: to promote diversity and inclusion in journalism. This digital reference guide provides information in every area, from training to recruitment to career progression to mentoring.
The Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging resource aims to be as useful to an editor as it is to a prospective journalist. Our aim is to assist people at every stage in their career, from school-leavers looking to begin a career in journalism to senior editors finding new ways of recruiting to mid-career journalists seeking to progress into leadership positions.
