Posted on: December 15, 2020 by Mariella Brown

The full season of the Society of Editors’ Virtual Conference discussions is now available to listen as a podcast.

From Media Minister John Whittingdale on news media regulation to BBC Editorial Director Kamal Ahmed on the future of the BBC, the recordings have been released in conjunction with Laudable Podcasts.

The final session with Managing Director of the Independent Christian Broughton has been published as a podcast today, concluding the audio series of the conference.

The sessions also saw ITV News Editor Rachel Corp discuss topics including access to government figures and diversity in broadcasting, along with the Lord Chief Justice Lord Burnett of Maldon raising the issue of maintaining open justice during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Links to hear the podcasts are embedded below and are also available on the conference site.
