The courts correspondent for the London Evening Standard has joined the line-up for the Society of Editors’ courts seminar.
Tristan Kirk, correspondent for the Standard since February 2016, will join former Lord Chief Justice Igor Judge, John Whittingdale MP and Society of Editors Executive Director Ian Murray at the event on January 18.
The seminar, titled ‘Crisis in our Courts – and How to Solve it’ will take place at the offices of The Telegraph and the event will be chaired by Ian MacGregor, President of the Society of Editors and Emeritus Editor of the Telegraph.
The seminar is being held to launch an initiative to explore ways in which coverage of courts in the UK can be dramatically improved and the event will be chaired by MacGregor.
The seminar is free and will start at 10.30am to be concluded by midday with a buffet lunch for those wishing to remain for a networking session.
