The State of the Media in 2021 will be debated as part of Cision’s upcoming virtual conference CommsCon21.
The discussion, chaired by executive director of the Society of Editors Ian Murray, will see top journalists share their predictions, insights and tips for the future.
Daily Mirror editor Alison Phillips and Yorkshire Evening Post editor Laura Collins are set to join the debate by global communications firm Cision which aims to look how new challenges and trends may affect PR practices.
The session taking place on Thursday, February 4 at 12:50pm will also feature Tortoise Media founder and former publisher of The Wall Street Journal Katie Vanneck, and deputy news editor of Channel 5 News Amanda Nunn on the panel.
The debate will ask the question: We know that the pandemic changed the way we consume news, but will we ever recover from the fallout?
