The Society of Editors and the British Guild of Travel Writers are joining forces to discuss The Future of (Ethical) Travel Writing next month.

The event, to be held on Wednesday 14 March, will hear from journalists and industry experts who will discuss the future of travel writing as well as the role of social media influencers. A  live stream will also be available to Society of Editors, Guild of Travel Writers and Society of American Travel Writers’ members who are unable to attend in person.

This event is being generously supported by the Dublin-based Staycity Aparthotels, who, two days earlier, will be opening their first Wilde Aparthotel, an upmarket 106-room building, some 20 metres away from the venue for the evening.

As a result, guests are invited to arrive a little early and pop into the Wilde Aparthotel for a glass of prosecco and a peek at the new apartments, before heading down the road to Smith & Wollensky for the reception at 6.30pm and panel debate at 7.00pm.
