Following the mini-series run by Metro.co.uk to celebrate the incredible people who have helped others during lockdown, the news site is asking readers to vote for their favourite hero.
Throughout the Everyday Hero series, Metro.co.uk took a look at the stories of inspirational people who gave up their time and energy for free to help others.
Whether to cook and deliver food, organise care, raise money or even just provide some entertainment, these 17 nominees brought communities together during the long days of lockdown.
Contenders for the crown include a fundraising marathon runner, a student who made PPE using his own 3D printer, and a neighbourly food and prescription delivery service.
The winner will receive a £200 voucher from BuyAGift, along with a personalised chocolate hamper from Getting Personal and a bouquet of flowers courtesy of Interflora.
Voting closes at 9am on 31 August 2020.
