The Journalists’ Charity has launched an on-line auction to help raise funds to support media colleagues in need.

The auction includes a host of must-have items ranging from a drive in a £3.3m vintage ’James Bond’ Aston Martin, champagne from Harrods, a meal for two at the Ivy Club and a chef’s table dining experience with multi-award-winning John Quigly

Items also include a personalised piece of work by famous Fleet Street cartoonist MAC, and there’s the chance to snap up a personalised oil painting by renowned artist Gail Graham.

The charity has found itself busier than ever this year, assisting journalists in need during the pandemic. In November the Society of Editors reported how the charity had been instrumental is assisting 15 journalists who were in danger of losing their homes without support.
